Shark Tank India: Sippline founder roasts Ashneer Grover & Aman Gupta after being mocked for his ‘glass ka mask’

The first season of Shark Tank India , which premiered in December 2021, came to a smashing end in February but continues to be quite popular amongst audiences. The reality TV show saw many entrepreneurs pitch their business ideas in front of a panel of investors, which included ex Managing Director and Co-founder of BharatPe Ashneer Grover , who quit the fintech firm recently. Well, during one episode, Grover lost his cool when Rohit Warrier came to the sharks with his product-- Sippline Drinking Shields, a portable attachment for your glass. Grover called the product ‘wahiyat’ while his fellow shark Aman Gupta , Co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer of boAt, laughed.

Not one to sugarcoat his criticism, Grover had wondered if Warrier was joking and even asked him if he drinks a lot. He had further stated, “Yeh jo product hai naa, isse wahiyat product maine zindagi mein naa dekha hai, naa main dekhna chahta hun. Mere ko Bhagwan utha le! Itna ganda product hai yeh. Iske baad main kuchh nahi dekhna chahta life mein.” Back then Rohit had said that he respects Grover’s opinion but also added that many people would feel differently about his ‘glass ka mask’. Well, in a recent clip, the Sippline founder has tried to roast Ashneer and Aman.

In this clip, he says that the ‘wahiyat’ question of the weekend is which brand his headphones belong to. Rohit says, “Yeh made in China stamped in India nahi hai, yeh Bose ka QC 30 hai.” He went on to add that he’s a big fan of Bose, where he started his career and learnt the importance of innovation. For those who didn’t understand, Rohit was trying to take a dig at boAt founder Aman as well as Ashneer. However, many fans of the show did not feel it was fair. In the comment section below, some asked Rohit to use the feedback he received by the sharks to come up with something ‘more productive’.

Well, Ashneer Grover is known for being blunt. But what were your thoughts on the way he shared his opinion about Sippline Drinking Shields?
