    Arshi Khan who gained immense popularity for her outspoken personality during her repeated appearances on Bigg Boss has spoken about being body shamed in the industry even today. The actress has come a long way and has legion of fans who support her on social media but at times she is still left shocked by the brazen comments about her body coming from the industry.

    The actress who often shares her views freely about such unfortunate encounters narrated a few of them to ETimes in an interview. She called body shaming a form of bullying and revealed how she was told that hey body type is only good for foreign shows.

    "I feel body shaming is one of the most serious forms of bullying, harassment and humiliation and usually experienced by women. I'm tired of it. People actually keep commenting about my back and size! At times, casting directors say that this kind of a make looks good only in foreign shows and not in Indian cinema. I really don’t understand how to react. And once a casting director told me to join the actresses who flaunt their figures in front of paps! It was shocking. I want to work here and earn a living,” Arshi told the publication.

    The actress added that she loves her body as it is doesn’t like to hold back from talking about these incidents because it allows her to vent her feeling and leaves no room for resentment.

    On the work front, Arshi was all set to be a part of her own televised swayamvar but the makers have now decided to proceed with a swayamar for singer Mika Singh. The actress said previously that she has no qualms about this and hopes to find her match next time.
