Bigg Boss 15: Umar Riaz reveals votes were in his favor; accuses Pratik of constantly poking him

Umar Riaz was one of the top contenders of Bigg Boss 15 and many expected him to emerge as one of the top 5 contestants of this season. However, he was evicted from the reality show in a shocking elimination due to his aggressive behavior just weeks before the finale. Umar had tackled Pratik Sehajpal to the ground during a task, after which a poll was set up on Voot for fans to decide his fate in the game. On Weekend Ka Vaar, host Salman Khan announced that the audience had decided to evict Umar. Not just fans but even housemates were heartbroken to see him leave the BB house.

Well, in a recent chat with Spotboye, Umar claimed that votes were actually in his favour and called his eviction unfair. Opening up about Pratik and his fight, he shared, “I think it's Pratik Sehajpal’s game plan of investigating others and poking them to a point that they lose their temper. He says mean things to others and tries to do something that works in his favour. This has always been his game plan, even in OTT too he played such a game of provoking others. Be it Tejasswi, Ishaan, Jay, Karan, or me, he constantly tries to get into a fight with others. He provoked me a lot on the show.”

Zeeshan Khan, who was evicted from Bigg Boss OTT after his fight with Pratik, couldn’t agree more. The actor felt that Umar’s actions were actually a reaction to Pratik’s provocation. In his interview, Zeeshan had stated that Umar’s anger was justified and further blamed Pratik for starting the fight. Well, Umar’s aggression has been a topic of debate since the beginning of the season. He was often called out by Salman for his behavior during tasks and just before his eviction, panelist and choreographer Geeta Kapur had slammed him for the same.

In your opinion, was Umar’s eviction unfair?
