Indian Idol 14: Ranbir Kapoor reveals daughter Raha's playlist, calls contestant Menuka a 'Devi'

Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna will be seen in the upcoming episode of the popular singing reality show Indian Idol 14. The duo will arrive to promote their movie Animal. While the actor was all praises for the contestants, he also revealed his daughter’s favorite songs in the episode.

Talking about the same, Ranbir could be seen as extremely impressed by the performance of contestant Menuka Poudel who is visually disabled but has proven herself to be one of the most talented contenders of the show. She croons the song ‘Tum Saath Ho’ from Tamasha and leaves the actor mesmerized. Ranbir goes onto the stage to touch her feet and calls her a ‘Devi’ comparing Menuka to the Melody queen Shreya Ghoshal herself. Take a look at the same.

Menuka also engages in some fun banter with the Rockstar actor. She says that she has heard that Ranbir is very cute and handsome and so is his daughter Raha. She then asks him what song he plays or sings to Raha while bonding with her. To this, he says ‘Baby Shark’ which is a favorite amongst kids, and the lullaby song ‘Lala Lala Lori’. Shreya says it is quite strange but endearing to hear such tracks come out of Ranbir’s mouth.

Apart from this, Ranbir also appeared in a South chat show recently wherein he revealed that he has inked Raha’s name on his collarbone. Before this, his previous tattoo was for his movie Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani wherein he had inked the word ‘Awara’ on his wrist. He had in an earlier interview hinted that his tattoo would either be his lucky number 8 or his child’s name and he has indeed made it done. Talking about Animal, the movie also stars Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol. It has been directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
