Is Shark Tank India fame Anupam Mittal planning for retirement? here's what the Shaadi.com co-founder said

Shaadi.com co-founder Anupam Mittal has garnered a huge fan base after he appeared as a judge in the first season of the business reality show, Shark Tank India. The businessman has earned his place back in the second season too. In the ‘SharkXperience’ segment of the last episode, a caller asked the businessman if he has ever thought of retirement as he achieved so much in life.

In response, Anupam said that he has no plan of retiring in life as he gets restless when he doesn’t have any work to do. “You know my dad told me something one day, ‘Give me retirement the day you want me to die’. He said it in jest of course, but there is a deep message. A human needs something to do and work is like worship. When you don't have work, you get restless, and it is in my nature. My mind gets out of control and I lose balance. For me, there is no word like retirement in my dictionary. Hence, I don’t feel I will be retiring anytime,” he said.

Even industrialist Harsh Goenka shared a chart on Twitter pointing out their losses. Reacting to it, Anupam tweeted, "I know you meant it in jest so with all due respect sir, I think u reacted to what appears to be superficial, biased, and incomplete data. Happy to learn from stalwarts, but just to clarify, like you, the sharks don’t bleed red, we bleed blue and that’s why we do what we do (hug emoji)."

Meanwhile, Anupam has a massive net worth of Rs 185 crore as per reports. He has investments in several start-ups like Ketto, PropTiger, Fab Hotels, and more. And in the ongoing Shark Tank India 2, he is planning on expanding his portfolio.
