Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 10 to start airing from THIS date, to be judged by Karan Johar and Madhuri Dixit?

The popular dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa will soon be back with its 10th season and it’s definitely a time to rejoice for all those die-hard fans of the show. The show will be back on the TV screens after a long sabbatical as the last season aired in the year 2016. Not only this, but now we reportedly know the date when the show will start airing.

Yes, you heard it right! According to a news report by Tellychakkar, the first episode of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa will start airing on September 27, 2022. Now that is just two months away and our excitement is definitely at its peak. The report further added that the pre-production phase of the dance reality show is in full swing and the makers have also started approaching celebrities who can be potential contestants of the same. The show will reportedly be judged by Madhuri Dixit , Nora Fatehi, and Karan Johar .

Earlier, popular names from the television fraternity like Nikki Tamboli, Divyanka Tripathi, Mohsin Khan, Simba Nagpal, Shraddha Arya, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Asim Riaz , Umar Riaz, Ayesha Singh, and Divya Agarwal were coming up to be approached for the show. While the new season of the show will be airing on the weekends, the timing hasn’t been divulged yet. However, the show might take the 8 pm or 9 pm slots of the evening hours.

Earlier there were rumors that Kajol has also been approached to judge Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 but it was soon revealed that the actress has refused the offer. Instead, Madhuri Dixit who had judged seasons 4 to 7 and Karan Johar who was a judge between seasons 5 to 9 will be seen reprising their roles as the panelist once again. An earlier news report by Etimes stated, “It would have been equally exciting to see the exuberant Kajol as a judge, but some things don't go the way you envisage. Kajol is a very close friend of Karan and that would have been a casting coup; their camaraderie would have stood out. But Dixit too has a fairly good equation with Karan and we guess that should suffice.”
