Naagin 6: Simba to play an Army officer; reacts to rumors of Tejasswi winning Bigg Boss 15 because of Ekta’s show

After winning hearts with his performance in Salman Khan ’s reality show Bigg Boss 15 , Simba Nagpal is all set to return to the screen with Ekta Kapoor’s supernatural thriller series Naagin 6. The actor, who was last seen in Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, is pretty excited to embark on this new journey and has called it a ‘dream come true’. Also starring BB15 winner and Simba’s housemate Tejasswi Prakash along with actress Mahekk Chahal, the series will follow the story of how Sarvashreshtha Shesh Naagin saves the nation from a virus, which was spread through water bodies.

Well, even before BB15 ended and Tejasswi lifted the trophy, she had bagged Naagin 6. While her fans were happy, there were some trolls who accused the channel of making her the winner only because she was the face of Ekta’s show. In a chat with Pinkvilla, Simba reacted to these claims and called it unfair. However, he added that actors are used to criticism and praise, until a point when one stops caring. Simba went on to remember his time in Splitsvilla, when he used to be affected by all this. But lately he has understood who he is, so the opinion of others does not bother him.

Naagin 6 star Simba Nagpal on working with Tejasswi: ‘It is really fun; gets difficult to work with someone new’ 

Simba shared, “So if someone has won (a show), they have done that on their own merit, and if you feel it’s forced then be happy with that assumption. What should I say? Aap gharpe baith ke TV dekho, aur logon ko judge karo bas.” Talking about his character in Naagin 6, the actor stated, “I am very excited about this because I always wanted to play an army officer, and that too if I am getting that chance to do it with Balaji (Telefilms) then it’s a huge opportunity.” He added that he loves the script as well as the way the team is shooting.

Well, it will be pretty interesting to see Simba as an army officer while Tejasswi and Mahekk play the role of Naagins on-screen. The show will premiere on television on 12thFebruary. Are you looking forward to it?
