Pratik Sehajpal remembers his 1st meeting with Sidnaaz: ‘Bigg Boss for me is either Salman Khan or Sidharth Shukla’

Sidharth Shukla was a superstar. He not only won hearts with the characters he portrayed on-screen, but also charmed us with his dazzling personality when he came on Bigg Boss 13 . Along with his millions of fans, he left even his housemates and host Salman Khan deeply impressed. Well, one individual who continues to be inspired by Sidharth even today is Bigg Boss 15 runner up Pratik Sehajpal . During his journey in the reality show, many fans even felt they saw a glimpse of Sidharth in Pratik.

On Sidharth’s birth anniversary today, Pratik remembered the superstar and their very first meeting. It was the first weekend of Bigg Boss OTT when Sidharth came into the BB house along with his BFF Shehnaaz Gill . In a chat with ETimes, Pratik shared, “I just kept looking at him, as I was finally seeing the one who always inspired me. I learnt from him ki kuchh bhi ho darne ki zaroorat nahi hoti.” This encouraged Pratik to stand by what he believes is right.

It was during the shoot of Bigg Boss OTT’s grand finale that Pratik got to know about Sidharth’s untimely demise. The Balika Vadhu star had breathed his last after a sudden heart attack. Remembering that moment, Pratik shared, “I was shocked and deeply affected. Bigg Boss, for me, is either Salman Khan or Sidharth Shukla. Even later, when I participated in BB 15, initially, it was tough for me to be in the house. Honestly, I still watch Sidharth’s videos, and I am in awe of him — kuchh toh baat hai.”

When Sidharth was in the BB house, he knew what he was doing and was always true to the game. He didn’t care what others thought of him. Well, Pratik followed in the season 13 winner’s footsteps and always thought what Sidharth would do during his time in the show. Pratik then reacted to things the way Sidharth would have.

That’s how deeply Sidharth affected each of us. Even when he’s gone, we know he will live on in our hearts.
