Tejasswi Prakash on signing Bollywood film: Don't want to settle for anything mediocre

Naagin 6 actress Tejasswi Prakash will soon be making her Bollywood debut in a big-budgeted film. The actress is currently busy reading scripts as she does not want to rush and settle for anything mediocre. However, she is confident that her projects will certainly be great with her hard work.

“Well, I have been reading a few movie scripts, but I can’t talk about any of it yet. Right now, my goal is to do something really nice. I don’t want to settle for anything mediocre,” Tejasswi told Etimes. She also added that she can fulfill the expectation of directors. “I think directors these days appreciate committed actors. And I am hardworking. I know I can deliver. It will reflect in my performance and the response I get from my fans. If I put in hard work with that, my projects will do great, I am sure.”

Earlier, there were reports suggesting that Tejasswi is likely to be seen on the big screen romancing actor Ayushmann Khurrana in the sequel of his 2019 film Dream Girl . The actress has reportedly auditioned for the film and is expected to bag the project. However, no official confirmation from the actress as well as film producers has yet been made.

Meanwhile, Tejasswi has jetted off to Goa with her boyfriend and actor Karan Kundrra to ring her 28th birthday near the beaches. On the personal front, she has been fairly open about her relationship with Karan. Their love story began on Salman Khan hosted reality show, Bigg Boss 15 where they were contestants. The couple is adored by their millions of fans with the hashtag #Tejran.

On the work front, Tejasswi is currently featuring in Ekta Kapoor’s popular television show, Naagin 6 in the lead role. Earlier, she played Ragini Maheshwari in Swaragini - Jodein Rishton Ke Sur. She has also participated in the stunt-reality show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 10.
