Unable to hug her daughter when late Sonali Phogat broke down in the Bigg Boss 14 house

Former Bigg Boss 14 contestant and politician Sonali Phogat died of a heart attack on Monday (22 August). Sonali was 41 years of age. The actress-politician was in Goa at the time of her unfortunate passing. Sonali had become very popular after her entertaining and controversial stint on Bigg Boss 14.

A throwback video showcases how Sonali Phogat had become very emotional on seeing her teenage daughter coming to visit her during the family week on Bigg Boss 14. The video shows how Sonali was overwhelmed seeing her daughter come from the hostel to meet her mother. Like every concerned parent, she was seen enquiring about her health and eating habits.

Sonali Phogat went on to embrace her daughter from behind the glass wall which was an endearing sight to witness. Sonali who broke down in unable to hug her daughter in person was assured by the latter that she is doing well on the show. Take a look at the video.

Talking about her untimely demise, Sonali Phogat, a former Tik Tok star, was on a visit to Goa along with some of her staff members. On Monday night, she was brought to St Anthony Hospital at Anjuna in North Goa district after she started complaining of uneasiness, sources said. Deputy Superintendent of Police (Mapusa) Jivba Dalvi revealed she was brought dead to the hospital.

Prime facie, the cause of death is established as a heart attack but further medical examination is on, he said. The postmortem would be conducted at the state-run Goa Medical College and Hospital at Bambolim, the concerned official said. Haryana BJP chief O P Dhankar told PTI, "She has passed away. I have been given information that she was in Goa.”

Sonali Phogat also actively pursued a career in acting. She had made her acting debut with Amma: Ek Maa Jo Laakhon Ke Liye Bani Amma. Phogat was also seen in the web series The Story Of Badmashgarh. Apart from this, she was seen in some music videos.
