    The best track and field athletes from around the world will be coming to the capital of Qatar, Doha, for the third round of the 2024 Diamond League, beginning on May 10. Fans can expect thrilling competition as athletes aim to make a name for themselves before the all-important Paris Olympic Games in 2024.

    The event will feature numerous Olympians and world champions looking to prove a point to their opponents before the Summer Games. Among the Indians, two athletes will be present in the javelin throw event - Neeraj Chopra and Kishore Jena and their event will begin from 9:30 PM IST onwards on May 10.

    Action will be streamed in various territories on the Wanda Diamond League YouTube page, though not all territories will have access to the live stream. Indian fans can watch the event live on Sports18 while the live streaming, will be available on the JioCinema app.

    About the javelin throw event:

    Current world champion and gold medalist at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, Neeraj Chopra, will be aiming to assert his dominance early in the season as he prepares for the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris 2024. Additionally, Kishore Jena, the silver medalist from the Asian Games will seek to make his mark in this tournament as well.

    Sharing the stage with Chopra and Jena will be the 2019 world champion, Anderson Peters, and Tokyo 2020 silver medalist, Jakub Vadlejch. Both are determined to secure an early triumph against Chopra.

    On the other hand, Johannes Vetter of Germany will be absent from the event due to battling ailments for the past three years. Max Dehning, who recently made history as the youngest man to throw 90 meters earlier this year, has opted out of competing in Doha.
