BIGHIT Music has officially revealed that RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook have initiated the military enlistment process. The agency issued a statement confirming the commencement of their preparations for military service, promising further details to be shared soon.

The official statement reads "Hello. This is BIGHIT Music. We would like to inform our fans that RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook have officially begun the military enlistment process. The artists are currently preparing to fulfill their military service duties. Further updates will be shared in due course."

The statement continued, "We sincerely ask for your ongoing love and support for RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook throughout their military service journey until their safe return. Our company is committed to providing unwavering support for our artists. Thank you."

Suga's Quiet Enlistment

Earlier this year, BTS member Suga began his military enlistment. BIGHIT MUSIC released a statement emphasizing that no official events would occur on the day he starts his service or enters the training camp. They kindly requested fans to avoid visiting Suga at his workplace during his service period.

In South Korea, men aged 18 to 28 are typically required to fulfill a mandatory military service lasting around 20 months. Contrary to some beliefs, popular figures, including pop stars and celebrities, are not exempt from this obligation. Currently, both BTS members Jin and J-Hope are fulfilling their military service, with expectations for their enlistment to conclude in 2025.
