Aditi Rao Hydari finally reacts to the media frenzy around her engagement with Siddharth

Aditi Rao Hydari is gearing up for the release of her web series, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, which is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. She stars alongside Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, and Richa Chadha in this eagerly awaited SLB OTT debut. But that's not the only reason that Aditi has been in the news. After rumours about her wedding plans with actor Siddharth went viral, the couple posted a picture on Instagram, flaunting their engagement rings. The actress has finally reacted to the media frenzy around her engagement and the story behind the secret ceremony.

Aditi Rao Hydari on her secret engagement ceremony to Siddharth

In a chat with Bollywood Bubble, the cast of Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar was asked to react to some pictures that they had posted on Instagram. When Aditi was asked to react to the picture in which she announced her engagement to Siddharth, she started blushing and said, “Jo bhi special hone wala hai, mujhe shuruat ek special jagah se karni thi. Woh meri family ka ek temple hai, which is 400 years old. I wanted to go there and do puja. There, I had a little engagement. (Whatever special is about to take place, I wanted to start it off in a special place. That is my family's temple, which is 400 years old).”

Reacting to the rumours about her wedding to Siddharth, Aditi said that she posted a picture of herself and Siddharth with their engagement rings to put an end to all the rumours. “Wo sab clarify karne ke liye, hamne ye photo daali . Kyunkik meri maa ne bola, 'Please, logo ko bata do kyunki call aa rahe hai nonstop' (To clarify all the rumours, we posted this picture because my mother said, 'Please, tell everyone because people are calling me nonstop),” she added.

Aditi also revealed that the picture was not taken at the temple but was clicked later at her house. On March 28, Aditi took to Instagram to  post a picture of herself with Sidharth, in which both were seen flaunting their engagement rings. She captioned the picture, “He said yes! E. N. G. A. G. E. D.”
