KGF: Chapter 2
Seems like it’s raining good news for all the Yash fans out there. After the massive success of KGF : Chapter 2, the superstar will reportedly star in two more ambitious pan-India projects. For the unversed, the Hindi dubbed version of the actioner earned Rs 430.95 crore at the box office while the worldwide collections of the movie stood at a massive Rs 1213 crore. Hence it is not a surprise that the actor might entice the fans with two more pan-India films.
According to a news report in India Today, Yash’s KGF: Chapter 2 producers are extensively working on two more pan-India films. Hombale Films’ Vijay Kiragandur revealed to the publication, “We have about 14 movies in the works for the next three years. We're also working on two films that will be released across India. One of the films has already been scripted and will be released in 2024. Like KGF, the material and plot of both films will be global. In August or September of 2024, we will reveal one film that will be released. We're now working on the script for the next film, which will be released in 2025."
Kiragandur also spoke about the South movies toppling the Hindi films in terms of box office collections. For the unversed, KGF: Chapter 2 has defeated Hindi films like Runway 34 and Jersey when it came to the box office numbers. The producer said, “It is not like there should not be any barrier between North and South. We all enjoy Hindi films, and they also watch ours. Everyone will watch it if the material is decent. There is no language barrier whether we watch South Korean, Japanese, or Spanish films. We don't quarrel about North and South when we encounter multinational material. Similarly, there should be no disagreement here. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is now doing well in India's southern states as well. It is entirely dependent on the content. People will reject it if the substance is poor." KGF: Chapter 2 was helmed by Prashanth Neel and also starred Sanjay Dutt , Raveena Tandon and Srinidhi Shetty in the lead roles.
