Bollywood beauty Parineeti Chopra is an all rounder. She’s a versatile actress, a trained singer and a celebrity who is adored by all. So when she revealed that she has sung 15 songs in Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming film Amar Singh Chamkila, fans were obviously delighted. She made her singing debut back in 2017 with Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahin, winning several hearts. So imagining Pari singing duets with Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh was not very difficult. Well, yesterday at the trailer launch of their film, Parineeti and Diljit decided to give fans a taste of their chemistry.

The two flaunted their singing skills on stage after launching the much awaited trailer of Amar Singh Chamkila, which follows the story of the musician and his wife who were assassinated along with two members of their band. Parineeti and Diljit created pure magic at the trailer launch when they sang Chamkila and Amarjot Kaur’s well known track Mitra Main Khand Ban Gai. The crowd went into a frenzy and so did netizens when a video of them singing at the event went viral on social media. Their chemistry is top notch and their voices are as sweet as honey.

Sadly not everyone agrees to this. There are many internet users who are now trolling Parineeti in the comment section below. One social media user stated: “Actually pari ki kuchh galti nai he ..jisne esko request ki gana gane ki use 11 saal ki saja dedo bs....😂😂😂😂”, while another wrote: “Acting tak thik thi Singing mat karo please 😂.” A third nasty comment read: “Ye Mannara or Parineeti Priyanka ka naam duba kr rhengi singing me 😂”, whereas another netizen wrote: “Feeling sad for diljit , he suffered a lot during this torture 😢.”

But there were some fans who came out in Parineeti’s support. For instance, one fan shared, “Her voice ain’t that bad, people need to stop with unnecessary hate!”, while another wrote: “Diljit’s voice is just on another level 🔥🔥 she’s also really awesome 😍.”

Well, kuchh toh log kahenge. But we are quite excited to witness Parineeti and Diljit create magic on screen when Amar Singh Chamkila releases on Netflix, on 12th April.
