Release dates announced of 2 sequels to The Amazing Spider-Man

No, Sony is not giving away the rights of Spider-Man to Marvel and it’s evident from the latest development. If someone was waiting for the day when Spider-Man would be reprised by Marvel as The Avengers did, then the wait would stretch longer than expected.

While The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is already in the queue for a release on May 2, 2014, Sony has announced two more release dates of two more sequels in the series. They have released a press release announcing that June 10, 2016 will see the opening of the third film in the series while May 4, 2018 will mark the release of the fourth one. That means Sony’s versions of Spider-Man would be truly time-consuming for the superhero’s fans.
