Shahid, Abhishek laid hand impressions on a cemented star-shaped slab for IIFA

The 14th edition of International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards began in Macau. The event opened with Bollywood stars Shahid Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan laying their hand impressions on a cemented star-shaped block. The first day also marked the unveiling of the first look of a comedy film Santa Banta, starring Vir Das and Boman Irani in the lead.

The organizers are also happy with the way the ceremony went on. Sabbas Joseph (one of the founder directors of Wizcraft International Entertainment) said, “We are honoured to host second edition of IIFA here. It's our privilege that Abhishek Bachchan and Shahid Kapoor left their hand impressions on our Brides Star of fame where we have hand impressions of stars of these region.”

Even though Big B is missing as face of IIFA since 2011 but with Junior B’s involvement, it is indicated that things are getting better between Bachchans and IIFA. The ceremony also witnessed the presence of stars like; Parineeti Chopra, Arjun Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurrana, Gauhar Khan, Anupam Kher among others to celebrate 100 not out years of Bollywood.
