1st trailer of Anurag Kashyap’s Ugly highlights a dark world

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap’s next venture, Ugly, is a psychological thriller packed with emotions and it sheds light on the dark and intense side of our contemporary society. The trailer of the gritty drama has been released finally.

The film is all about a young girl named Kali who goes missing and then a daring ‘Ugly’ game begins to get her back. Besides directing the film, Kashyap has also penned down the script for Ugly. The trailer also introduces a catchy tagline, “When the going gets desperate and desperate gets Nasty, Creepy, Evil, Murderous, Ugly.” The film is crowned with an ensemble cast of Ronit Roy, Tejasvini Kolhapure, Rahul Bhatt, Vineet Singh, Girish Kulkarni, Siddhant Kapoor and Surveen Chawla. Ugly was very well-received at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival this year. The film is scheduled to hit the theatres on October 11.
