Aamir Khan Intolerance Row: After Complaint In East Delhi’s Police Station, Plea Filed In Indore Court

After a complaint by filmmaker Ullhas PR in East Delhi, a plea against Aamir Khan has also been registered in an Indore Court recently. The plea, which has been filed by Ashok Soni and Abhishek Bhargava, says that the actor, who is a “role model” for many, has vitiated the atmosphere of the country by his comments on intolerance row. The plea has been filed on November 26.

The petition further said that the situation which has been created after he gave his remarks is a criminal offence. The plea has been filed in the court of additional sessions judge Justice Jitendra Singh Kushwaha. Now, the hearing will be held on December 3.

Aamir Khan’s statement that has offended many people is as follows: “Kiran and I have lived all our lives in India. For the first time, she said, should we move out of India? That's a disastrous and big statement for Kiran to make to me. She fears for her child. She fears about what the atmosphere around us will be. She feels scared to open the newspapers everyday. That does indicate that there is a sense of growing disquiet”.
