Abhimanyu Singh gets a winning role in Jazbaa, thanks to Yashraj for that

Actor Abhimanyu Singh who’s been substantially recognisable through his previous few years of work has bagged a major role in Sanjay Gupta’s upcoming drama Jazbaa. The film that marks Aishwarya Rai’s comeback is set to go on the floors.

According to reports, Sanjay who wanted to cast Mardaani villain Tahir Raj Bhasin for the role couldn’t take him since he had to go through an approval from Aditya Chopra. The filmmaker was quoted as saying, “It is very embarrassing to have one's offer and script filtered through the Chopras, so I'd rather approach someone more accessible.” Talking about the shade of his character Abhimanyu told, “It's a character-based film. And I play a character who goes through many changes. He starts off one way and ends up in another. It's a challenging role.”
