Ae Dil Hai Mushkil Is Now Ranbir Kapoor's Second Biggest Hit!

With the amount of appreciation Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has got since its release, it is no doubt Ranbir Kapoor has redeemed himself on the big screen. The movie has not only helped Ranbir in making a ‘comeback’ but has also become his second biggest hit after Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Ranbir’s last two films 'Tamasha' and 'Bombay Velvet' did not fare well at the box office..

The movie has been directed by Karan Johar and co-produced by Dharma Productions and Fox Star Studios. The filmmakers recently released a statement which put the movies earnings at Rs 112.14 crore (net India business) and $12.4 million (gross) overseas till Thursday. Vijay Singh, CEO, Fox Star Studios shared, “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has had an amazing run at the box office and we are thrilled to know that this has become the second biggest hit of Ranbir Kapoor”.

Vijay Singh is glad to be partners with the director and says that the content of the film has drawn the audiences towards it. ’Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan, along with Ranbir. The Barfi actor will next be seen in ‘Jagga Jasoos’ where he shares screen space with Katrina Kaif.
