Ajay Devgn’s Stunt In ‘Baadshaho’ Got A Little Out Of Hand

Ajay Devgn’s Stunt In ‘Baadshaho’ Got A Little Out Of Hand

Shivaay actor Ajay Devgn is known for performing his own stunts. In the upcoming film ‘Baadshaho’, there was an action sequence that required the actor to slide under an armored truck. This turned out to be more challenging than Ajay thought and if not for director Milan Luthria’s intervention, could have ended badly for Ajay. The sequence was designed by German action director Ramazan Bulut and all safety precautions were implemented.

For the stunt, Ajay needed to latch on to the underside of the truck with the rotating tyres on his side and the jagged edges of the differential in front of his face. The actor was supposed to pull himself towards the front of the truck and look towards the camera. While the shot came out successfully, Ajay had started having a claustrophobic attack. He was starting to get disoriented but, thankfully Milan noticed this at the right time and stopped the sequence.

The truck was stopped and the crew was sent to get Ajay safely away from the underbelly of the truck. As the crew was working on freeing him from the safety harness, Ajay’s jacket got stuck on a part of the undercarriage. The actor got even more claustrophobic and yelled at the crew to hurry up. Though he came out unscathed physically, the crew members extremely emotional.

Thankfully, no one was hurt during the filming of the scene.
