Akshaye Khanna Opens Up About His Long Gap

Bollywood actor Akshaye Khanna is known for his low-key nature. The Dil Chahta Hai actor recently suffered a great loss from the demise of his father legendary actor Vinod Khanna. The Border actor opened up in a recent interview in order to promote his comeback movie.

The upcoming movie is titled as ‘Mom’, which also stars Sridevi and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. On being asked about the reason for his long gap, the actor was quoted as saying, “I had some personal issues in the the past two-three years which didn’t allow me to work”. The actor also shared that acting is his only profession and inability to work was torturous, which further brought depression.

The actor also praised his co-workers Sridevi and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The actor was quoted as saying, “Nawaz is a nice guy, I enjoyed working with him. But Sridevi, oh man. I’m a quiet and private person on set, so is she. But she takes it to another level. I loved that about her”. The movie is helmed by Boney Kapoor and is slated to release on July 7, 2017.
