Television producers are keen to bring Ranveer Singh into the world of small screen but the actor seems uninterested. The Gunday star was recently approached to host the Indian adaptation of American TV series ‘Tonight’s The Night’, and reportedly, the Dil Dhadakne Do star has rejected the offer. Now, rumours are rife that Amitabh Bachchan has been roped in for the non-fiction show. “They were offering him a whopping amount, but Ranveer thinks it is too early for him to venture into television”, a source told Mid-Day.

The source also said, “The show producers wanted a fresh face to host the desi version of 'Tonight's The Night'. So, they met a few young actors. They had seen Ranveer's hosting skills at an awards ceremony and felt he would be ideal to entertain the audience that is part of this reality show in which ordinary people get the chance to live out their fantasies. The actor had showed interest initially, but later informed the makers about his unavailability”.

Reportedly, the actor, who will next be seen in Bajirao Mastani opposite alleged girlfriend Deepika Padukone, was also offered to host Indian version of ‘Who's Asking' — 'India Poochega Sabse Shaana Kaun’, which he turned down. Later, Shah Rukh Khan was roped in. Ranveer’s spokesperson revealed in a statement, “Ranveer has received multiple offers for television shows but he has passed up on all of them in order to remain singularly focused on (his upcoming film) Bajirao Mastani”.
