Anxiety begins as Shamitabh comes to a wrap

Having already garnered sizeable buzz in the market, the Big B starrer Shamitabh has come to its landing point with the production stage over. The R. Balki directorial has completed its last leg of shooting and is now catching up pace in the post-production.

Mr. Bachchan on Monday in his blog wrote and informed his fans about the wrapping up of shoot. “Shamitabh’ hits the last day for me … after a hard day on location several miles away from the city, they cheer for me as I leave … to continue the next work and schedule on hand,” he blogged. The film also stars Tamil superstar Dhanush besides marking the Hindi debut of Akshara Haasan, the younger daughter of actor Kamal Haasan and Sarika. Even Dhanush brought his excitement on twitter and tweeted the release date of the movie post concluding the shoot. “SHAMITABH ..arrival date FEB 6 th – 2015,” the Kolaveri D sensation tweeted. This is going to be the third consecutive outing for the Bachchan-Balki duo as far as their cinematic collaboration goes. While they have been largely successful to mesmerise us through their previous work, let’s see how this one shines out.
