Arjun Rampal joins league of panning ‘commercial awards’

Arjun Rampal has been the newest entrant into the league of fraternity members considering the present day award functions just commercial events. The actor believes that there are no award functions in the country besides the ‘National Awards’ to hold any credibility whatsoever.

“I think it’s a money making business. National award is the only award which is not a commercial event and it’s the only award function which has got any weight. I don’t feel as an outsider in this industry. I have immense respect for the Industry and will do anything and everything in my power to contribute back to it,” he said. Arjun has in fact won a national award for his performance as a supporting actor in ‘Rock On’.
