Bajrangi Bhaijaan Becomes Highest Grossing Film of the Year

Salman Khan starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan has set another record at the box office. The film has become the highest grosser of the year, beating the record set by Kick. Interestingly, both the films released on Eid.

Not only Kick, the Kabir Khan directorial has also surpassed the records set by S.S. Rajamouli’s Baahubali. While the Telugu Blockbuster minted Rs. 224 crores in 10 days, Bajrangi Bhaijaan has collected Rs. 241 crores at the domestic box office. Also, the Salman Khan film became the quickest to mint Rs. 100 crore in just 3 days. Further, the collection of the film is moving ahead to break the records of Aamir Khan starrer PK, which minted Rs. 340 crores.

The collection of the film in Pakistan is also astonishing. The film minted Rs. 26 crores in Karahi and Islamabad. The number is way ahead than Bin Roye and Wrong Number, which released around the same time in the region.
