Big B reveals Piku’s release date, May 8 it is

Going through the last leg of its post production, Shoojit Sircar’s ‘Piku’ has been given a confirmed released date. Mr. Bachchan himself tweeted and revealed the date. The film will hit the screens on May 8 this year.

The film where Deepika Padukone plays the title role for the first time also stars Irrfan Khan in a prominent role besides Big B himself. While Shoojit has much been into demand post Vicky Donor and Madras Cafe, he would hope Piku continues to carry his winning momentum. Predominantly shot in Kolkata, the film will finally open for the audiences in May.
