Business-minded Hrithik justifies his demand of 50 crores for Mohanjo Daro

While speculations heated up regarding Hrithik Roshan demanding a whopping 50 crores for Ashutosh Gowariker’s Mohanjo Daro, the actor has himself gone out on record to state it’s his personal business and he’s justified to make his own decisions.

It was earlier reported that Hrithik who left Karan Johar’s Shuddhi and chose Gowariker’s period drama Mohanjo Daro, apparently charged him half a billion rupees to cost producers a handsome figure. However, Disney India who co-produce this one along with Ashutosh Gowariker had no trouble in terms of finance though. Hrithik when asked about the ongoing talks said he’s justified to quote whatever he feels is correct in the times of high profit earnings. As already reported, actors prefer to have a big piece of cake that directly comes through the profits their movie makes. Of course banking on their own brand value and mass appeal, stars feel they have the right to earn the share that has made their producers dancing in heavy cash. How justified are they in taking this stand? Well it’s perhaps not for us to decide.

Mohanjo Daro is set to go on floors in October as the first schedule rolls in South Africa. Hrithik has been going through some hard physical and history training to get in shape for the character, both physically and mentally.
