'Commando 2' Postponed, Will Now Release on March 3

Lately, demonetisation has been taking a toll on the film industry. A week before, the release date of an erotic thriller 'Wajah Tum Ho' was pushed by a fortnight due to demonetisation. And now, we hear that the release of ‘Commando 2' has also been affected. ‘Commando 2', which was scheduled to release on January 6 has been pushed by two months and will now hit the big screens on March 3.

The director of ‘Commando 2' said, "Demonetisation has affected movie biz. For the past few days, we have been contemplating a more viable release date for Commando 2; obviously, we don't want the box-office collection to get affected. We were planning to come out with the trailer in a few days, but that too has been postponed. Coincidentally, the film is also about Vidyut's journey to curb the black money problem — it makes the story more relatable and topical".

'Commando 2' has been directed by Deven Bhojani. The movie stars Vidyut Jammwal and Adah Sharma. Desimartini hopes that the movie sails smooth at the box office.
