“Commercial awards are for TRPs, I have better things to do,” – Kangana Ranaut

Just a day after winning the national award for best actress, actress Kangana Ranaut has come out strong and express her happiness. Not only is she happy being an award recipient, she feels proud to have brought that glory with a film like Queen.

Kangana unlike other contemporary actors reacted strongly on the conditions of modern award shows that only cater to throng masses and earn TRP’s. The actress while talking to a leading TV channel said, “Other actors work out deals with organizers of commercial awards. They offer to sing & dance & get awards in return. Commercial awards are for TRP's. I don't want to make deals with the organizers to win awards. I have better things to do.”

This year’s Queen also added as how Priyanka called her up and challenged for a win next year. “Priyanka called me & said she wanted to win National Award this year. she told me that she’s got many good projects ahead and is eyeing a win next year. I told her that I too have a lot of good films coming this year and that I would give her tough competition for winning an award.” Well as she lets the feeling sink in, we feel happy for her, many congratulations.
