Company 2 on the cards?

B-town’s chocolate boy Vivek Oberoi, who suddenly disappeared from the silver screen, is all set to make a come-back. The actor, who had received awards and accolades for his outstanding performance in crime-thriller Company, will now star in its sequel. Vivek would reportedly also produce the sequel himself.

The 38-year-old actor is currently on a holiday with his beautiful wife Priyanka and son Vivaan Veer. "Vivek read three scripts and zeroed in on this one 20 days before he left for his holiday. He will be back this Sunday and there will be another reading. He is sure Company can be turned into a bankable franchise. The film rolls in July," confirms a source close to the unit.

Vivek had played the character of Chandrakant `Chandu' Nagre in the original film. Though, he will be seen in the same role, leading ladies Manisha Koirala and Antara Mali will not be the part of second instalment. "It is not a continuation of the earlier story but a gangster film revolving around Chandu," added the source.
