You Won't Believe How Much Deepika Padukone Is Getting Paid For Padmavati!

We all know about the Forbes list of highest paid female actors in the world and how Deepika Padukone was part of it. Now, sources have stated that the actress has charged a whopping sum for her role in the upcoming period drama ‘Padmavati’. Apparently, Deepika is getting Rs. 12 crore for the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial.

A source stated, “For Ram-Leela she got Rs. 1 crore, for Bajirao-Mastani which came two years later, it was Rs. 7 crore, this time it is Rs. 12.65 crore, making her the first Bollywood actress to break the Rs. 10 crore barrier”. It is also being said that Deepika is now charging Rs. 12 crore per film.

The latest on this issue is that a producer approached the actress for a film that also starred one of the Khans and Deepika asked for the same amount. ‘Padmavati’ also stars Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. The movie will be released on November 17.
