Filmy Friday: Box Office to stay noiseless as new releases open on a dismal note

The ticket counters this week will seek no respite as no major film has hit the theatres this Friday. With an unheard film like Barkhaa releasing on a limited number of screens, it looks pretty obvious that NH10 will remain the first choice of cinema lovers this week too.

Filmy Friday: Box Office to stay noiseless as new releases open on a dismal note

The new releases Barkhaa and Yahan Sabki Lagti Hai have opened to an extremely poor note with even worse reviews. With Hunterrr and Dilliwali Zaalim Girlfriend underperforming at the box office last week, NH10 has a great opportunity to cash in more. The Navdeep Singh directorial has earned around 30 crores and one more week could add much more. Hunterrr raked quite low and made around 8.5 crores in its first week.

On the other hand, Yashraj’s Dum Laga Ke Haisha surprisingly continued to attract more audiences towards the theatre and now stands at a figure of around 28 crores. All eyes will now be on next Friday’s arrivals where we will have a major release after a long time.
