Hrithik Roshan To Replace Ranveer Singh In SLB's Padmavati?

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming flick Padmavati is no more a suspense for Bollywood lovers. Every now and then there is an update about the movie. From deciding upon the cast to Deepika Padukone’s pay cheque for the movie, we’ve read it all.

If latest reports are to be believed, Hrithik Roshan may replace Ranveer Singh to play the part of Alauddin Khilji in Bhansali’s next directorial which is based on the life of Queen of Chittorgarg, Rani Padmini aka Padmavati. A known daily credited a source saying, “Ranveer made the grave mistake of asking Bhansali for a narration. The director feels that the actor owes him his success, and is not in the position to question his judgement. Like Shah Rukh Khan doesn’t ask for a narration from Karan Johar and Aditya Chopra, and Salman with Sooraj Barjatya, SLB felt that the actor should have come on board without hearing the script”. 

The source further added, “Sanjay’s ego is hurt and he is just sulking. I am sure he will come around and make the film with Ranveer eventually. Ranveer is at the top of his game and has no dearth of filmmakers wanting to work with him. He knows that he is far ahead of all his contemporaries and he has Aditya Chopra, Rohit Shetty and even Karan Johar in his corner. He is not about to go running back to SLB. Ranveer has instead, taken off for a holiday with his friends to Switzerland”.

Hrithik Roshan was last seen in Mohenjo Daro which is an Indian epic adventure-romance film written and directed by Ashutosh Gowariker.
