Filmmaker Farah Khan says that she is tired of people constantly comparing her actions and her work with others. While she was being compared to actor Salman Khan, when she took over the later to host Bigg Boss 8 in January, now when she's hosting her celebrity show on TV, and people are not only comparing her move but even her hamper with that of Karan Johar, whose chat show, Koffe With Karan is a cult already.

"Why is there a comparison always for everything I do! I didn't realise the pressure that would be put on me after I took up Bigg Boss. I was tired of hearing, 'Oh God! You are taking over Salman Khan!' Luckily, everything turned out well eventually," says Farah, who was much loved by the audience for dealing with difficult situations and contestants in the last leg of the popular TV reality show.

Talking about comparisons with Karan's show, she says, "I don't understand these comparisons at all. Mine is not even a chat show. It's a cookery show, and I have been wanting to do it for long because I love cooking, besides the fact that I thought it'd be interesting even for viewers to see these celebs cook their favourite dishes. I mean, after Karan's show, really what more new is there to do by hosting a regular chat show. He has already done it so well, no point repeating it."

Prodded about the comparisons between Karan and her hamper that's given away to the celebs visiting, she says, "My hamper is completely different from Karans. His hamper was all about chocolates and cheese whereas I'm giving away oxyfryers and ACs apart from cooking oil and a variety of masalas. So, it's not comparable at all, and neither am I intending to compete with Karan. He is a very dear friend and he will be on my show, too."
Farah's show, Farah ki Dawat premiered on Colors TV, last week.
