“I have a very unusual role in Phantom” – Saif Ali Khan

Slightly disheartened with the epic failure of his very recent rom-com Happy Ending, Saif Ali Khan is now looking forward to his next film Phantom. The actor who didn’t have an eventful box-office outing in the recent times, is eyeing the Kabir Khan directed flick to be a reviver putting him right back into money.

According to the actor, his role in Phantom is very unusual and he is thankful to Kabir for having chosen him as film’s lead. “I am very happy that Kabir approached me for this role. He has made one of the biggest hits of Indian cinema, and he could have cast anyone for the film but he chose me, which is a big thing for me. I have a very unusual role in Phantom, so I am quite happy. I want to do some nice, different films and I am enjoying my life,” he said.

The film is currently in its post production and will release in the first quarter of 2015. Kabir, who straightaway went ahead with his next directorial venture Bajrangi Bhaijaan with Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, will have to take some time out when Phantom releases. The film also stars Katrina Kaif.
