I've Always Enjoyed My Own Company: Ranbir Kapoor

After much delay, Ranbir Kapoor’s most awaited movie Jagga Jasoos finally hit the theatres last Friday, 14 July, 2017. The film brought the hit jodi of Barfi, Ranbir and Anurag Basu, together. The actor has been receiving praise from the film fraternity post the success of the film.

While, the professional sphere of Ranbir is going great with biopic of Sanjay Dutt and Dragon in his kitty, but, in the personal sphere the Rockstar is still a single man. The actor who has dated Bollywood’s top actresses, Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif, in the past reveals what he expects in his girl. "There are varying degrees of what you expect (from a person). As you grow older, you understand more about life, and how much you have to give (back) in a relationship. What I was like while dating a girl in school, and what I am now, and what I will be to my girlfriend later or my wife will be very different. There is no way to measure it. But there is a different sense of evolvement so far as love in my life is concerned,” Ranbir said.

The 34-year-old has said he is so occupied with movies that he never gets time to go on dates outside the film industry. He further said that he rarely gets a chance to meet people outside until and unless he travels or encounters someone. However, Ranbir said it is very difficult to date someone outside the film industry because of their different lives. He believes that dating an outsider will result in a lot of insecurities.

When asked about his familiarity with Tinder, the Tamasha actor said that he has never used the dating app. He added, “But I'm happy falling in love with my own company. I've always been like that. I don't mind travelling, having breakfast, lunch, dinner, alone. Sure, being with someone is amazing. There is nothing more beautiful than that. But being alone is something I also enjoy very much.”
