“I’m not doing Pyar Ka Punchnama 2” – Divyendu Sharma

You may have loved him as the funny yet simple Liquid in Pyar Ka Punchnama, but actor Divyendu Sharma doesn’t have plans to recreate the same character again. While the sequel to the 2011 film is underway, the actor has denied being a part of the project. In an interview to a leading website, the actor told he has no plans to do the film.

“I’am not doing Pyar Ka Punchama 2. My character ‘Liquid’ in Pyaar Ka Punchnama is very special; you get these kinds of characters once in a life time. My idea is rather than encashing on it, I just feel let’s not touch it, it’s like my symphony. I made one nice symphony and everyone enjoyed it, then why make changes in it? I am not of the point of view that “yeh toh hit hogaya hai toh usko vaapis kardete hai”,” he said. Well while we respect his point of judgement, let’s hope he comes up with something as exciting again.
