IMPPA Requests MNS To Allow The Release Of ADHM And Raees

The recent Uri attack caused frenzy not in the valley but in whole of the country. Bollywood was not left untouched with it as it demanded banning the Pakistani artists. Amid the entire stir, MNS gave an ultimatum of 48 hours to the Pakistani artists to leave India or else they’ll be pushed out. If that was not enough, Indian Motion Picture Producers' Association (IMPPA) declared a ban on Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Raees and all other movies which cast Pakistani artists.

However, there’s a kind of relief for all the Bollywood fans. If reports are to be believed, IMPPA has requested MNS' Amey Khopkar and Shalini Thackeray to permit the release of the movies having Pakistani actors that have been completed. Filmmaker and social activist Ashoke Pandit tweeted, "#IMPPA meets @ThakareShalini #AmeyKoppikar of MNS & made a representation to not disturb the release of completed films with #PakActors. #IMPPA also seeks appointment with @uddhavthackeray JI to make a request to allow the release of completed films with #PakistaniArtists. #IMPPA very strongly feels the makers & investors of films are #Indians and hence should not be at loss.#Pakis hv made money & gone".

The tweet also made a strong point that banning the movies will only be a loss to the Indians. Indian fans will suffer if the release of the Indian movies is hampered as Pakistani artists have made their money out of the movies and are gone. Now, this is a solid point. What say?
