Jiah Khan’s last rites, Bollywood bids adieu with moist eyes

Many Bollywood celebrities turned up on the funeral of actress Jiah Khan yesterday. Actors like Riteish Deshmukh, Aditya Pancholi and his son Sooraj Pancholi, Urvashi Dholakia, Raza Murad and Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao were present to perform the final rites at the Juhu cemetery. The sudden sad incidence of Bollywood actress Jiah Khan committing suicide has left the film industry disturbed.

Jiah Khan (25) was found hanging from the ceiling at her flat in Juhu on late Monday night. Her mother Rabia Amin is in shock and not able to digest that her daughter has committed suicide. Though she has not put allegations on anybody and has said that Jiah was depressed from the past few days. Jiah’s close friends and relatives have said that she was really an affable person.

Jiah began her career in 2007 with Nishabd, starred opposite veteran Amitabh Bachchan and went on to do her second film with Aamir Khan, Ghajini (2008) and her third with Akshay Kumar in Housefull (2010). Big B has expressed his shock on twitter and said that he is deeply upset with what has happened with Jiah and the way her life ended. He expressed this incidence as a result of people coming up with their dreams to Bollywood and when they miss out in fulfilling them, they certainly give up, one should not do that.
