Kapil Sharma Speaks Up On Drug Menace In Punjab

The censorship row over Abhishek Chaubey’s Udta Punjab is becoming more and more intense every day. Meanwhile, many Bollywood celebrities as well as Punjabi artistes are coming up with their opinions in support of the flick against censorship. Recently, Comedy King Kapil Sharma also contributed his views and admitted that drug addiction is actually a menace across the state.

The acclaimed comedian took to Twitter to share his views. In one of his tweets, Kapil wrote, “Families have lost their youth to easy drugs and lack of rehabs in de state.. so can't shut our eyes to this”.

In another tweet, Kapil talked about people who are unaware of drug abuse problem in the state. “Those who say dat der r no drugs or illegal medicines easily available in Punjab..dont kno de real pain of Punjab”, wrote the Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon actor.

Indeed, facts can’t be swept under the carpet and reality can’t be ignored.
