Karan Johar in awe of Dedh Ishqiya, Shah Rukh Khan dying to watch it

Abhishek Chaubey's highly-speculated film Dedh Ishqiya has received undisputed positive response from film critics as well as the audience circle. It has been labelled as a "genuinely smart film", "deliciously dark film", "rich cinematic experience" and "a gripping fare" by movie critics. Celebrities from the film fraternity like Karan Johar are busy sharing their experiences of watching the masterpiece while others like Shah Rukh Khan expressed their strong desire of watching the same.

Filmmaker-producer Johar took to Twitter without any delay, not only praising the film but also appreciating the actors’ prevailing performances in the same. He also asked cine-goers not to give it a miss. Karan’s tweet said, "#DedhIshqiya is a marvel of a Movie!!! outstandingly written and brilliantly performed!!! Go make it your weekend watch guys!!! (sic).” On the other hand SRK returned from Dubai and soon he tweeted sharing his willingness to go for the film. His tweet said, "Hearing such wonderful things about Dedh Ishqian. And today per chance bumped into Naseer bhai & the beautiful Madhuri. Want to see it NOW!! (sic).” Dedh Ishqiya, a sequel to the 2010-film Ishqiya, was released this Friday and Madhuri Dixit, Huma Qureshi and their chemistry were lauded enormously.
