Lara Dutta makes a comeback, starts shooting for Fitoor

So for all you out there who were too gloomy missing your favourite Lara Dutta on screen, there’s some good news coming your way. The former Miss Universe who hasn’t been too active cinematically is now making a comeback.

Lara has joined the cast and unit of Abhishek Kapoor’s Fitoor that stars Aditya Roy Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Rekha in lead roles. The film is an onscreen adaptation of famous Charles Dickens novel ‘Great Expectations’. Lara’s last full fledged role in a Hindi film happened to be Chalo Dilli that she had herself produced. The actress tweeted and told her fans about joining the Fitoor unit.

Lara had married Indian tennis star Mahesh Bhupathi in 2011 and had become a mother in 2012. Since then she has only been engrossed in her family stuff. Let’s hope this is first of many films she will be a part of in future.
