Manish Paul to turn action hero?

Manish Paul to turn action hero?

Manish Paul, who did not receive a great critical response for his last release, Mickey Virus (2013), has apparently been approached for an action film. But it seems that the actor is in no hurry to sign on the dotted line.

According to a source, Aryeman Ramsay, film-maker Keshu Ramsay’s son, has offered the actor the lead role in the film. “Aryeman has told Manish that he wants to take forward his father’s legacy. His father has made several action films with Akshay Kumar, including Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi (1996), and International Khiladi (1999), among others. He approached Manish two weeks back with a script,” says the source.

The insider adds that Manish has mentioned that working in an action-based film will be a different experience and will help give him a new image.“While he is popular for his comic timing, he does not want to be typecast in one genre,” adds the source. As the actor is currently in Singapore, the source says that he will meet Aryeman next month to discuss the project. We tried contacting Manish, but he remained unavailable for a comment.
