You can call him a Jatt, a mad Punjabi or an angry man, thanks to the kind of films he has done till now. But he can surprise you when you meet him in person. He is shy, humble and a disciplined man who never tries to get the lime light and allows his films to speak for himself. Now a days he is in news for his upcoming flick, Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 (June 7) where he will be crumbling your stomach with laughter.

Sunny is a family man, you won’t ever see him in any controversy. And he passes on these morals from his family to his son Karan. He is planning to launch him too but via a good film. Deol is very busy as there are films standing in a queue for him; Ghayal 2 is one of them. It’s been 30 years since his debut film Betaab that the actor is ruling the hearts of many with so many hits like; Ghayal, Damini, Jeet, Apne, Ghatak and may more.

The actor never bothers about what next he is going to do, he says, “I never think of tomorrow. Today, when I look back, I feel three decades have passed by just like a blink. Feels like its only yesterday when I made my debut in Betaab! Life takes care of its own journey.” Though now he feels that makers are like cricketers who can hit a ton and can get a duck in the next jeopardizing their consistency. Sunny is known in the industry for his killer dialogues be it the movies or interviews.
