Milind Soman: The Young and Spicy Hottie! - Throwback Thursday

Before Milind Soman became an old and spicy hottie, he was a young and spicy hottie. His chiselled looks and Greek god physique made him hot property and appropriately, he was seeing Madhu Sapre (Miss Universe 1992 and co-hottie).
I am talking about the Naughty 90s here.

In August 1995, they got into a spot of bother when the two of them modelled for a not-so-well known brand of sneakers - Tuff.
To draw attention to the shoes, they obviously wore the shoes.
And nothing else.
What... nothing?
Well, I exaggerate... they wore a python.
One second... WHAT???

Needless to say, conservative political parties protested. Women's groups protested. Even animal rights activists protested on behalf of the python. And a case of obscenity was filed against Soman and Sapre.

Thankfully, no major violence happened and everyone went their ways soon after.

Except the case dragged on for FOURTEEN YEARS and it was only in 2009 that the two models were officially acquitted. Apparently because 'witnesses had turned hostile'. I wonder which witness? The python?
