Mohit Suri denies roping in Aditya Roy Kapur and Sidharth Malhotra for his next

Director Mohit Suri has been receiving positive reviews for the trailer of his upcoming release ever since the promo was launched earlier this week. The film stars Emraan Hashmi, Vidya Balan and Rajkumar Rao. However, what seems to be making headlines more often these days is another project that Mohit is set to direct. Even though this film — which is rumoured to be an official remake of a French comedy-drama called The Intouchables (2011) — is yet to go on the floors, there has been a lot of speculation about its lead actors.

Reports recently claimed that Sidharth Malhotra and Aditya Roy Kapur have been signed for the two-hero project. But the 34-year-old director denies the news. Suri says that, other than him, the only two people, who are currently part of this project, are producers Karan Johar and Guneet Monga, both of who own the rights to remake the French film.

“The fact is that so far no one has been signed,” says Mohit, adding, “Wait for some time. We will announce the names soon.”
