Actor Vikas Verma is three films old in Bollywood and has essayed only negative roles till now. The actor doesn’t fear getting typecast and has a reason for taking up such offers.

“It’s not that I am fascinated with the negative image, but I love doing something which is more challenging and out- of-the-box. It’s very difficult to make people hate you. I find a different kind of high in taking up difficult tasks,” says the actor, who recently starred as Charles Diwan in the film Mom.

Vikas, who earlier starred in Yaariyan (2014) and Shaandaar (2015), is smitten by his Mom co-star Sridevi and says that this is one film which he will cherish forever.

“Working with Sridevi ma’am was like a dream come true. She is a superstar and there is a lot that you can learn from her. She did complete justice to the role of a mother and off-screen also she is just like that — protective, caring and loving. No one could play Mom better than her,” says Vikas.

Talking about his upcoming films, Vikas, who will soon be seen in the sequel to1997 film Judwaa, says, “ Right now my focus remains on working non-stop.” He adds on a lighter note, “I am looking forward to working on some unique scripts where I can explore my acting abilities in the best way possible and make more people hate my characters with time.”
