Mumbai Saga gets its leading lady!

Few days back, reports were on air that actor John Abraham would be sharing screen space with former beauty queen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Sanjay Gupta’s forthcoming thriller Jazba. And now we hear that Bollywood’s handsome hunk is all set to romance one more Bollywood beauty! Apparently, Huma Qureshi would play John’s love interest for the first time, in the same director’s next movie Mumbai Saga.

A source close to the production says, "Sanjay was really impressed with her performances in Gangs of Wasseypur and Dedh Ishqiya. He wanted someone who can blend innocence and sensuality and thought Huma was a perfect fit." Actress Huma Qureshi liked the script and seems to be excited about the role offered to her. "She will be paired with John Abraham - an actor she hasn't worked with in the past. He plays an underworld don and she's his love interest," the source further added.

Meanwhile, we hear that the film will be launched by the end of this year. The gangster flick with characters inspired by Bal Thackeray and gangster-turned-politician Arun Gawli will feature John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Sonu Sood and Manoj Bajpai in important roles. Sanjay and John worked together in Zinda, Shootout at Lokhandwala, Shootout at Wadala. Apparently, all the blockbusters of Sanjay Gupta starring John turned out to be hits.
